An Original Psalm
My Lord, I am lost. You have shown your love, mercy, and power, and yet my stubborn heart still will not surrender. Do to my lustful ways, and all my ties to this world, I seek what should not and find what should be lost. How foolish am I, how lacking in wisdom, I know what I should do but I do the opposite. Father if not for your grace I would have died and been lost. You alone forgive me and my disobedient ways. May the lord keep me, and love me until I leave to be with him. Blessed is the name of the father and how mighty is his hand, how massive is his love for me; For, he has forgiven me and saved me for the depths of my own failings. Thank you my Lord and God, Keep me under your wings.
this is a great thing, you should do more for the sake of yourself and God
ReplyDeleteGood stuff Ben! You're not alone in your struggles "I know what I should do but I do the opposite." Yeah, me too sometimes...but I think it's a positive thing to recognize that, to seek God in it and to try to set things right...while giving Him all the glory. I admire you for putting your feelings out there for all to see on a blog. I think that takes a lot of guts and that your sharing will minister to many, myself included. Keep up the great work with your blog and in youth ministry!
